Soccer and friendships

Since my daughter Katrina, has been playing soccer, I have come across various types of people. One person in particular that has stuck in my mind is Bramble Mokoena.
My daughter decided to play 6 a side Corporate league, at Sandown High School and I went to watch her. Next to me stood a very slim, delicate and beautiful dark tanned lady. There was something strange about this lady, but could not put my finger on what I was feeling. I looked at her and she broke into a smile and said to me"I like your bracelet". Since I am Greek Orthodox I was given a religious string joined by a silver link of Mary and baby Jesus. I took off the bracelet and gave it to her.
Her strong personality and the pure spirit of this women was unbelievable. I was drawn to her like a magnet, and  could see for the first time a  light blue light around the crown of her head.
I had the pleasure and honour of getting to know Bramble. A former soccer player herself, she thrives and enjoys watching the ladies play. She encourages players and supports her team with  coach Amos.

She works for ACSA, but I don't think that her bosses realise what a gem they have!
Bramble, keep up that amazing spirit.
It goes to show you, that soccer is a sport that connects people and builds lasting friendship.
Love you Bramble!
